Looks like an Eastern Three-toed Skink Hemiergis talbingoensis - typically found under logs and rocks. Can look like they are legless because the limbs are quite small. I'll wait until John has had a look at the photos.

You haven't given us much to work with here! I'm not convinced it is a Delma and although It would have been handy to see the front limbs, not visible here, I agree it looks more like a Hemiergis. The head shape looks more skink than Delma.

Hi @WillO and @wombey the robot got this one wrong... IF possible, can someone please confirm the correct species over the top of the Robot's ID.

Aaron I think you will find that the moderators cannot sign off on this one. It could be one of several species (e.g. Mentia greyii, Lampropholis delicata, and, more likely, if found under a log could be Hemiergis talbingoensis. If the photographer observed it walking and noticed that it had very tiny legs that would help. Because the limbs are hidden we dont have enough to work on.

OK got it @WillO, I think we'll need a way to Undo (or disagree) with Carbon AI's confirmation then. I'll make a few tweaks soon so we can roll back what the bot came up with.. cheers Aaron.

We will be in deep trouble if the bot has absolute control over id!

@wombey yes of course. We would never allow that to happen. The bot works for us and reports to our expert moderators at all times.

Hi @wombey @WillO @michaelb - tonight we've rolled out a small change. If CarbonAI makes a silly confirmation that you disagree with, you can now click the UNDO button directly on his confirmation. This will then downgrade the Carbon AI confirmation back to a suggestion, but it will retain the probability info so you still have visibility about the decision the bot tried to make but got wrong. So I've clicked "Undo" on this confirmation, so now it's gone back to a suggestion ultimately leaving this sighting as Unidentified still. Cheers Aaron.
