Inclined to call this E. magenteus based on the location and pink colour. Also noting that it’s part of a complex and we can’t really be certain on photos alone.

Didn’t notice leaf colour. Habitat was open woodland immediately adjacent to fire trail on top of a rise. Not moist, damp or grassy. Will try to make return visit. Orroral valley not particularly accessible at present.
