Found in dry sclerophyll forest burnt during Orroral Valley Fire in 2020. Unsure on species ID

This is certainly a bandicoot. Two species of bandicoot are present in SE Aust. This animal appears to me to have long ears (therefore Perameles nasuta) but others have suggested it is Isoodon obesulus (which has shorter ears), so I'll leave the ID as 'unknown bandicoot'. Further camera work in the area could settle this.
