Yellow flowers and sticky foliage with strong odour identifies this species.
The third image shows good identification feature from a distance: sticky foliage catches fruits of spear thistle, unlike the foliage of Fleabane (Conyza) that does not. This small patch of 50+ plants about 100 m west of Naas valley fire trail, showing that this weed is now being carried away from the known locations along the road, probably by animals.
