Thanks Don - this is one we are trying to restrict from spreading further. If you find isolated plants please keep reporting and if they have not set seed hand pull them if possible - if they have set seed pull and bag if possible
Hi Michael, Isobel identified it several years ago when it was restricted to a section of track at Gudgenby but got no traction from various PCS people she reported it to. A couple of years ago it moved into Naas Valley and spread along NVFT. As yet not much spread along the river. It pops up mainly in dampish spots along the road. Isobel, John and others have been pulling it for a couple of years in goannaland but no sign yet that we are making progress.
Its encouraging that you are interested. Would like to hear more.
Don - when John first posted a sighting on Canberra nature map it was misidentified which slowed down a response but PCS are actively controlling this species now. It is too well established in I think two spots for it to be eradicated but Parks are actively trying to prevent further spread. If you could also say in your postings whether or not you have controlled plants that will assist PCS.
