Black very Hairy Caterpillar, about 6cm long, in a Suburban Garden

No Sorry, After Sighting, I just left it in my garden, so not sure where it went ? It was a wild caterpillar, not reared or kept for pupation, sorry...

Thanks Max. I actually think this is a Moth caterpillar, not a Butterfly caterpillar, and it could be a Tiger Moth though I'm not entirely sure. Thank you for the sighting anyway. But for next time, please rear it.

OK, Yes this is plausible as I have occasionally seen the Adult moth (looking at other pics) in our area in Watson ACT 🙂
