Unclear ID from photo but call was definitely Glossy Black-cockatoo.

Their call is distinctive, but given how rare they are in the ACT I’ll leave this one for someone else to confirm

Well they have been sighted recently in the vicinity of this area, at Mount Taylor, so they could have been flying there for another feed.

Thank you for confirming the sighting, I wouldn't have been offended if you hadn't given the inability to ID from the photo but I really appreciate it. Was a special moment for me, and I hope to see them again in Canberra.
