Skink about 8cm, shiny, reflecting rainbow colours, found under log in Namadgi nr start of Bendora Arboretum walk.

A good record. This species is widely distributed in the moist tall eucalypt forests in our region. However due to its secretive habits it is very rarely observed.

I noticed MacCoys skink is under Canberra Nature map under two different species names, Im wondering if we need a taxonomy cleanup or is there two different species?
