User's notes

Very inquisitive, watched me assiduously as I ladled water from a small water tank.

Will, now I am a bit perplexed. In the second image there appears to be a distinct vertebral line. I would have been happy to call this guichenoti?

I agree it is L. guichenoti. The first photo was more difficult.

Maybe there is just one species here - variable head colour and vertebral line

Kevin it would be easy for us to check through photos if you still have them. I seem to remember there also being L. delicata amongst your records. The Aranda area is interesting because it is one suburban area that has L. guichenoti - it seems that most ACT gardens have L. delicata. Both L. guichenoti and L. delicata occur nearby throughout parts of Black Mountain reserve. it would be interesting to know if they both occur in that reserved linear bushland strip that comes down through the Aranda suburb.
