Good record - thanks for reporting it on CNM. This small skink is a thigmotherm ( does not bask in sunshine and uses the temperature of the substrate to enable it to be active). It lives in the leaf litter layer and under rotting logs .
Thanks for that WillO. A lucky find, and in exactly the environment you've suggested: in leaf litter under a rotting log. I had no idea these were so rarely seen until I looked in CNM and discovered so few sightings!
