Attracted to UV light at night (50w Gecko).

P. nobilitata. Paropsisterna annularis has four more blotches that are filled in red, near to the apex of the wings and forming the outline of a ring (annulus) with the posterior pair of yellow blotches. Paropsisterna gloriosa has four yellow dots on the elytra. The rear pair extend outwards and backwards diagonally extending to the yellow vitta (stripe) along the side of the cell of the elytra. The yellow regions touch, or nearly so.
