Plant about to bust into flower with significant new leaf growth.
Appeared as the only insect on plant at time of inspection - a little different from normal, but heaps exciting.
Checked against Susie Bond book ‘Field guide to the Butterflies of the Australian Capital Territory’ to confirm. Even more excited to read that the species is a migrant and not known to breed successfully in the ACT - sure looks like it did alright here!
