Some kind of large weed I don't recall seeing on Mount Majura before. There were a couple of plants, with numerous grasshoppers on the plants.

could you please pull out and bag the Inkweeds? it looks like they already developed fruits and require bagging.
Usually, Inkweed occurs at warmer places; most likely the Inkweed escaped from a garden (the fruits are eaten and spread by birds) and benefitted from the last mild winters in Canberra.

Done. I have removed a number of Inkweed plants that were growing at that location. The mature plant has a remarkably large, tuber-like taproot, which forced to to do a lot of digging to completely remove.
