I have no idea whether this is actually an ant or not but I looks kind of like the queen ants that I’ve seen at lower altitudes so that’s my best guess.

Hi Tapirlord, sorry I can't do much but confirm that it is an ant queen, as you suggested. It could be an Anonychomyrma species, but also other things as well. Cheers, Jon
