Most likely the same spider reported earlier but am adding this to add some interesting information. Photo was taken around 9:00 at night. Late the next afternoon I found it in a container I'd left on the deck that had filled with rain water overnight. I thought the spider was dead but when I tipped the water out I found that the spider was still alive. Whether by chance or design, the spider had been laying in the water on its back so was still able to breathe allowing it to survive what was likely, hours trapped in the water. I'm glad it survived.

Alison - while it was upside down did you notice the "badge" on the underside of the abdomen?

Yes. I didn't think to take a photo as I was concerned about it being in the water, and possibly dead.
