A female Jacky Dragon (Amphibolurus muricatus) at the entrance to a burrow in which eggs will be laid??

Definitely a laying muricatus - what a fantastic find! I’m unsure if already done, but if not, the exact location of this photo should be hidden.

thank you Lisa. After seeing your comment I am excited by the find. I agree with you, the exact position should be suppressed. How can that be done ?

Barrie there is a tick box which says suppress the location of this private property - it surpresses any record - I have edited your record and surpressed the location - you will still see the location but others won't

thanks, Michael. I will try that in future. However, there is a lot of luck in what I take, and i wonder what happens if I take pic which turns out to be of something that is rare? By then the pic is already posted on CNM with the location.

All uncomfirmed sightings are treated as sensitive until they are identified. Thus if by chance you took an image of a sensitive species you would not have to worry about whether or not the location is public as these settings come on as soon as confirmation occurs.
