Great work. This is a rare species, and the first colony to be found since the species was rediscovered in 2009.

User's notes

Looking at the images on Canberra nature this is the nearest I can find.

This is the first colony of L. wilsoni to be found since the species was rediscovered in 2009. Identification was only possible because superb photography showed the wing venation and depressed fovea on the face.
Males have a banded abdomen and yellow on the face.

A great find.
Michael, are you able to provide the size of this bee?

Between 7.5 and 8 mm long. Males are more slender than the females and tend to be a little longer (but probably weigh less).
