Thanks John much appreciated - would also like any sightings you see of birds feeding in your area - I want to compare diets in known breeding areas with those away from known breeding sites

Thanks John, I noticed the GG at this site yesterday successfully keeping 5 SCC away. Much noise so will be interesting to see what happens. Interesting that a pair at the Pinnacle bred in a dead tree last year and again we have a dead tree. Same pair?

Possibly the same pair, but not the same tree. This one is a Scribbly Gum that is mostly still green and pretty healthy looking. It's about 200m SE of last year's nest tree.
