User's notes

Approx 7-10mm, very fast ant going up and down eucalypt, this particular individual had another ant’s head clamped onto one of its legs.

Hi Steve, yes, she looks like she has been in a fight and the other ant was the loser. It is not uncommon after large territorial fights to see ants with the heads of their opponents clamped on legs or around the middle of the body. They take it all pretty seriously. Cheers, Jon
