Street trees with very fine leaves. Sock of rough to lightly fisusured grey bark with smooth transition to smooth grey bark.
Unsure if young Euc. radiata or some other out-of-area planting.
Wasn't convinced this was radiata so checked the street tree directory, in this part of higgins Eucalyptus mannifera ssp. maculosa & Eucalyptus nicholii have been planted. The former has a pale pretty much bark-free trunk whereas the latter has grey bark and very fine leaves. The one mature nut I can see also seems to match.
