How does one distinguish between C. displicata and C. goldfinchi when they both have dark smudges?

The MoV (Part 7) supporting disc gives guidelines for separating 4 un-named Cleora pecies. Sp(2) is said to be equivalent to C. displicata, Sp(4) is said to correspond with the smaller C. goldfinchi. The thorax/abdomen of Sp(2) is said to have a pale fringe margin on the abdomen which seems to be present here, whereas sp.(4) =C. goldfinchi is is said not to have this feature. Also sp.(4) is said to have a rounded hindwing discal spot which does not seem to be the case here.
