guessing with a Magpie chick it snatched from a nest, there were 4 Magpies chasing the Little Eagle with it's meal that went past very fast and quite low
@MichaelMulvaney Thanks Michael, if you are able to look on facebook under Richard Levingston he has a great close-up photo of the Little Eagle taken on the same day (but probably a different area as we did not see Richard on the day). This may help you to ID the Little Eagle if possible, a 100% better than my very quickly snapped one. Photos by Richard were posted on 12 July and have Crimson Rosellas and New Holland Honeyeaters showing first the Little Eagle is the 7th image. It's worth a look if it helps to ID it. Hope it helps.
