Yes, they are distinctly different to many examples of A. lasiocamparia elsewhere. Moths of Victoria make the comment that A. lasiocamparia is most likely a complex of similar looking species yet to be properly identified, I have recorded this purple hindwinged variant at my backyard at 15 Fairfax St O.Connor, near Black Mt as well.
