About 15 mm across cap. Single fruiting body. Mt Painter Reserve Wildflower Triangle ridge.

Given that this mushroom is not growing from a sandy area I assume that the numerous shiny granules on the cap are part of the mushroom, and grains of a sandy soil. If that's right, they would be remnants of a membrane (the universal veil) that enclosed the mushroom when it was still in the compressed, button stage. That would rule out Parasola, which lacks such a veil.
