Saw flock of about 20 fly over fast when we were at the rocky ford, then later saw another 3 smaller flocks some of which landed in the trees so we were able to photograph them in the distance. Other birders present also saw them.

Excellent photos RodDeb. Can you tell me where the dead tree was that the SPs were perched in. Was it in Callum Brae or the old zoo site?

Thanks Rob. The dead tree was in Callum Brae but not too far from the old Zoo site, the rocky ford is close to the fence line.
