this one was fairly close then it flew back in a tree behind, shortly after 6 of them flew off together.

Re electronic records from Callum Brae of this species there is a 1960 record of swift parrots near where the Mugga Dog pound is today and two 2019 records from Callum Brae so maybe a sign that woodland restoration work better linking Canberra's urban and semi-urban woodlands may be working
