This is the first sighting of a species not previously recorded in the ACT.
User's notes
The four plants were removed. One was taken to the ANBG to begin the identification process. Dave Albrecht emailed the i.d. on 07.04.21. "The grass specimen is Urochloa piligera, a species not previously recorded for the ACT – see......" The grasses were growing in mulch near where the footpath meets the edge of Huelin Circuit, Flynn. The gardener said he adds mulch, hay and manure to his gardens. He also recognised the plants as being unusual.
