Lovely Egernia cunninghami that was relocated from a garage in Moncrieff.

That's exactly what I thought, but I have been subsequently informed that they are not uncommon in the Gungahlin area. I was aware of good populations on the fringes and beyond of Canberra and in certain pockets e.g. Weston, Ainslie, Mount Taylor etc., but seemingly more common in suburbia than I realised! That said, this is only my first call out for one of these guys in Canberra in 5 years!
