It's one of 2 long eared bat species in the ACT. Unfortunately the nose ridge which helps identify the species isn't visible in the photos. The white colour of the belly fur is indicative of Lesser long eared bat but really need to see the nose to be certain.

thanks for looking at the photo's. I had the specimen in the freezer so was able to take some closer up photos of the nose. I've uploaded those shots. Hope they're good enough to help with the id.
