I think there are some minor differences from the other Lepidoscia characota sightings. I know that this moth is worn but it does not seem to have a white head and the dark bands seem slightly narrower. It may just be acceptable variation.

I was a bit doubtful too, but put it down to wear and tear. I don't think there are any scales left on the head.
