Only saw two Odonata at the dam - this one and a possible female scarlet percher that disappeared before I could get a photo.

Never mind the Scarlet Percher - this is a way more interesting record. Only the second location I'm aware of that this species has been recorded in the ACT. Great record and pick up on the ID.

I wasn't expecting to see any at all and only saw this one as it flew into my line of sight as I tried to work out where the percher had gone.
