I came up from the south from Murray's gap saddle, as far as I'm aware the Bimberi wilderness is still closed so entry through Kosciusko is the only point of access for Bimberi at the moment.......

I visited the peak 30 years ago from Murrays Saddle. Its the largest subalpine area in the ACT and contains many plants and animals found nowhere else in the ACT. Unfortunately my days walking to such places are now over.
