User's notes

In this flock of about 12 birds there was only 1 female. The diagram in the Survey (2014-2015) said that males only slightly outnumbered females. Last season at this sight we often had flocks of 10-12 with only say 2 or 3 females. What are the reasons for apparent reduced number of females in flocks of ganga-gangs?

Thanks Ruth after the breeding season we seem to get flocks of same sex birds or mainly composed of birds of the same sex - not sure why
