Is this Pennisetum setaceum, invasive Mexican Feather Grass? It’s in the Murrumbidgee River Corridor.

This is the native relative to Cenchrus setaceus, African Fountain Grass. The blackberries nearby, however, are a serious problem along the river. This is Mexican Feather Grass:- Melitulias discophora
