User's notes

A nice photo of father and son. I had a much better look tonight and as far as I can tell it's just the one chick. Chick was fed by both mum and dad, and is getting very close to fledging.

Activity at this nest was stone cold this evening, presumably the chick fledged this morning. 2020/21 Gang-gang season is over!

Thanks for your fantastic effort Roy - five new Gang Gang nests, I think that is a world record and to a Kiwi, what were the rest of us doing?

Haha thanks Michael, I think I had some extra help from upstairs. :-)
Ahh those kiwis, small flightless bird, eating worms in the dark, poking its beak into things it shouldn't, not much use for anything.... :-)
