I came across this dragon in Woolshed Creek just upstream from where it flowed into the Molonglo River. The creek was very overgrown. I noticed the hollowed out stump of a long-gone tree that a water dragon was clinging to, with only the lizard’s head out of the water. It looked at me for a while but it also focussed forward on something that I could not see.
