Was sitting inside the hollow watching us as we walked past.

Thanks Tdoh - We have Gang Gang nestlings still at a few hollows elsewhere in inner Canberra- if you could go back sometime tomorrow that would be great.The season is quite spread out this year. You may see nestlings stick their heads out or you may hear the chicks chirping inside, or see parents standing on the hollow rim and feeding chicks still in the hollow. Gang gangs also obtain water from tree hollows so this one could have also just been having a drink or checking out a hollow - but would be good to check if possible, but no worries if not.
