Two beautiful chicks poking their heads out of this nest this morning. Pigmentation on the beaks is quite striking. Both have grey cheeks and small red crests.

Great to have a new nesting site with two young males given some of our previous sites were unsuccessful this season. The beak patterning is interesting isn't it. Similar to what we have noted previously cheers Jenny

Parents at this site this morning but the chicks didn't come out while I was there (hopefully they are ok and just having a sleep in).
