User's notes

Unsure what this is. Possibly a slug as it appears to have stalks protruding from the righthand end of its body in the fifth image. When disturbed it contracted in length similar to slugs and worms. Thanks to Marcus Leach for the initial sighting close to the stream in ANBG's Rainforest Gully.

The specimen is Hill's nemertean Argonemertes hillii. It has been recorded in the ACT, in northern NSW and SE Queensland.
