Author's notes
Growing beside small pool on ephemeral creek. Fairly common here but not forming dense patches. Culms erect.
Other characteristics: Leaves flat, channelled (photos unsuccessful due to dense growth of sedges ). Capsule dark reddish-brown, with pointed tip. Culm diameter = 2 mm. Pith possibly continuous but not solid.
