It's a long eared bat. There are 2 species locally but I can't see the nose to confirm which species it is. It's unusual to be in the briar in the day. Its likely to be injured or unwell.

Ok. Thank you. I'll be back on site tomorrow and check if it's still there. I guess if its still there report to wild life range?

Hi MPennay. The bat has move but its still in the sweet brier plant. Should I just leave it alone or report to wildlife ranger?
