If this is P. barbata (noting that I am not a reptile person) then it is the first record for the Dryandra Street Woodland since 1991. I had been searching for this sp and for Jacky Dragon in DSW, hitherto without success. An exciting moment!
While I have accepted it as barbata, feral vitticeps may also occur here and they can be told apart by the lateral spines along the side of the body. While this image may be photogenic, I would also like to take a peek at the side of the lizard as well to confirm id. Useful tip for the future.
Wombey, thank you for that. I have some full-size images of this creature that may fit the bill. I will edit the submission later in the day and make another comment to that effect.
