Section 66 Deakin. Family with begging young, first I have heard this season. Sorry I only got a distant photo of this one, they were too high and among leaves. Counted four when they flew off.

Michael no l did not see feeding or hear swallowing sounds. The baby begged ceaselessly even when they all flew off up the hill. Unmistakable begging sound, should work out how to record it. Cheers Jacky

Michael - Sorry for confusion, this photo is not of the baby that was begging, it was just the only bird I could get a photo of. There have been small flocks and individuals around here for the last couple of months. I look out for leg bands but have not seen any, mostly because I rarely get a good view of their legs. Will let others know and keep trying. Jacky
