User's notes
Clearly a delicacy for the local wildlife. Only the well protected plants had the larger leaves with toothed margins. Specimen in last photo is from another colony slightly to the east.

Probably more likely to be Dampiera pupurea, given the location and the fact that the stems are round rather than triangular.
