User's notes

Interesting observation at camera-equipped nesting hollow site 15. An adult male arrived in tree, calling. Immediately a Gang-gang emerged from the hollow, but it was the male! He looked around, as if wondering where the female was, then flew to the branch with the other male and chewed bark there for at least ten minutes (photo 4). The other male flew off after a few minutes. No sign of female. No birds visible when I came past again an hour or so later. Camera seemed unchewed.
