This creature seemed to be in some sort of trouble, perhaps because of the wetness. It could not fly.

It failed to emerge properly as an adult and its wings are malformed. This often occurs if they fall from their perch while the wings are still soft.

Oh. Thanks for the explanation. There is some level of positive correlation between insects that I get to photograph with a macro lens and some sort of problem for the insects.
