OK, just looked a bit smaller and the male scruffier than we had seen before. Maybe they were just wet like everything else !!! I have a video of the female Leaning into the hole several times, so maybe they have babies in there. Will watch as we walk by every day. Thanks
This time of year the birds are about to lay eggs and are probably checking out a hollow to start breeding in. We have some endoscopes on long poles and in a few weeks time will check out this hollow for any activity - we will be in touch if you would like to be present
