That is correct Mark Clements did the genetics to place this orchid correctly but naming in this app hasn't caught up.

I noticed that "Caladenia major" is not in the CNM drop down list of Caladenia.
The naming of orchids is a fickle thing, they change all the time... the Census of vascular plants has the scientific name Caladenia major. W

The naming is something that needs to be addressed at some point. Different states recognise different names. Different field guides recognise different names. Different people recognise different names. Orchid taxonomy and nomenclature is in such a state of flux that it is impossible to keep up. I will try and make some time and update the list of synonyms for each species.
