Leaf beetle, (Chrysomelidae). Possibly Paropsisterna gloriosa, or one allied to it. See: https://sites.google.com/site/paropsisternapages/paropsis-sp

Thank you - I was just so fortunate to spot it, amongst the profuse yellow flowers.

This does match Paropsisterna gloriosa, but I can't see how that species (as well as P. annularis) are different in any significant way from P. nobilitata, so I am using this last name as it is the oldest. Martin Lagerwey at https://sites.google.com/site/paropsisternapages/paropsisterna-nobilitata says the three species are 'similar'.
