User's notes
The abundance was in excess of 20 infected flies clustered in just this one small part of the bush, with many more spread throughout the bush. The bush was in full bloom and attended by many flies of different types. Presumably the bush is infected by fungus spores and these are in turn infecting attending and returning flies. Thanks to Marcus Leach for the initial sighting of this cluster of flies.
